Stepmama Update 1

Hi all - It's Chloe's stepmama. We came in this morning at 7; Chloe was calm and scared, as you might imagine. She and her father went back into preop and he was there with her for a while. I waited outside with the THREE computers, all the coats and backpacks.  When he came out, he said surgery would start in about an hour, and that she was doing ok. He'd met most all her team and they assured him they would take good care of her. Later we received a call that she handled the anesthesia well and that surgery had started and she was doing fine. There's a board here, like an HD tv screen, that has the operating room numbers on it, and ovals of various colors. As things progress, the colors change and the ovals move from one side to the other. So far Chloe's oval is in the surgery color of pink.
